96m Superyacht swimming pool design goes from concept to production

Armada has been working closely with a new -build 96m superyacht project as part of the vessels hydraulic design & installation team. One of the required installations is a variable height platform, to form the base of the vessel's swimming pool and which can be raised fully to form a dance-floor, this has been designed by Armada working to strict specification. The concept is remarkable, with the revolutionary design it is capable to safely carry 7 tonnes of water. The Armada design is able to vary the depth of the swimming pool to pre-set heights and also to use as a dance floor. The hydraulic control system on the vessel has been designed in-house and uses PLC's to safely control the movement and lock into various positions.
